With funding through the North Down Local Strategy Partnership and Investing for Health, the Network was able to refurbish the Resource Centre to add extra office space and an extended meeting room to accommodate larger groups.

North Down Community Network acts a focal point for the Community and Voluntary sectors within the North Down Borough. The Network will represent the Community and Voluntary sectors on local issues at different levels. The Network supports the growth and development of established groups whilst initiating activity in areas of weak infrastructure. Where appropriate, the Network will co-ordinate, encourage and support local groups to work on projects of mutual benefit and will facilitate the sharing of good practice amongst members.
